Welcome
I have had a 30 year career in the field of media, government relations, politics and now finance.
My career in journalism began on the East Anglian Daily Times in Ipswich, where my first day at work was spent on strike. The NUJ, which normally would not take on new members for some time, enrolled me at the front door of the building before I even stepped in, fearing that I might break the picket lines and go to work. Not wanting to be called "a scab" I duly joined the NUJ. Management was not pleased. My career has been "tricky" ever since! Read more »

April 2012 - Latest News
Thanks to the encouragement of my friends I have produced two new slim poetic volumes of my work. These stories which have been written over many years are taken from Two Mermaids Together and The Mermaid's Tale - A Portrait of Suffolk
Food on the Table - All in 1 is dedicated to the skill of the cook in her kitchen, who prepares "Food on the Table" from whatever inspiration surrounds her to combat austerity and create from necessity!.
Dear Alex - All in 1 are stories written for a young friend - an only child- who wanted to know what it was like to have a sister. Of course I know much about these. And "Dear Alex" Sisters bite!
All4Now
A sequel to The Mermaid's Tale - A Portrait of Suffolk and Two Mermaids Together, published in 2009. All4Now charts my Mother's final year and is a tribute to her and my childhood in Suffolk.
Amanda Goodman, BBC Look East presenter and author: "Boni, 'All4Now' is deeply moving. I read it all in one go and was impressed. The love, the lyrcism, the lullaby. Grief let go of on winds, tides and swans back, but unbearable too."
You can download or read a copy of the book here, but please make sure you use the donate button too. A donation of £4.50 would be much appreciated - thank you. You can pay securely online using PayPal.
